So, I’ve been majorly slacking lately on keeping up with my blog, for those of you who visit often I’m sorry and plan to keep things updated more reguraly!!
Last month a group of about 10 of us riders went out to Dubai for a Double Up contest called the Oakley Riot, it’s one of the best contests with the best riders and one of the biggest prize purses in Wake tournaments! JD Webb, Shane Bonifay, myself and Spencer smith all went out a few days early to shoot some photos and relax before the event.. I’ve been to Dubai several times and I have to say this was by far my best trip there and cant wait for the next! Checkout the slideshow below from the trip.
www.nautiques.com updated their site showcasing all of the new boats for the 2011 season. I could seriously hang on this site all day!
If you want to win this limited edition wakeboard in collaboration with Joey Meddock, Liquid force and myself than go to http://www.Meddock.com/win and follow the instructions, good luck!!
I’m really stoked to have the opportunity to get a pro model shade with Dragon! The only other athlete on Dragon to have there own shade is Rob Machado so I’m pretty honored to be on that level, goes to show that wake is making a move! These bad boys should be available soon at your local shop and once I get an assortment of them I plan on doing some giveaways for those who want the chance to win a pair!
Bob Soven has been riding amazing these past few years and is really starting to shine this year! We all knew it was a matter of time before he was going to get a win under his belt and sure enough he makes it happen in his rookie year at the 4th pro tour stop in Colorado springs, Co.. I’m claiming it’s because of the board he’s riding, haha.. Congrats Bob, you da man!
Here’s a little video of the podium and then Bob getting iced, literally.. Haha
So I finally got my 2nd cover with alliance and I’m so stoked! The only bummer is that the photo was shot horizontal and for a cover it needs to be shot vertically.. So as you can see on the cover of the mag they made an acception and really cropped the photo. So it’s kind of hard to tell what’s going on. In this other photo is the original shot that Jason Lee took where you can really see what’s going on.
Originally this setup was a rooftop that Chris Oshea and I built on a barge that I have. It was fun at 1st but got kind of boring because it’s so short, so we decided to get creative and add to it.. It’s still really short but now more of a jib.
Check out this link to view the live webcast of the contest!
I just recently signed with Roswell towers and accessories.. Stoked to be on board with the best wakeboard tower maker in the industry and to join the team! Check out this little welcome video Jack Blodgett put together.
Here is the newest voiceover from the Dallas PWT.. They got me good on this one, sooo funny!
